Quorn Grange Day Nursery

Set in the grounds of the Quorn Grange Hotel, the Quorn Grange Day Nursery is surrounded by 8 acres of beautiful gardens. Choosing the right nursery for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make. If you’re a parent with a pre-school child and looking for a nursery where you can feel comfortable and re-assured that your child is being cared for in a safe and stimulating environment, then look no further. In order to maintain a friendly, family atmosphere we work closely in partnership with parents and carers. Your child will be nurtured by our enthusiastic and motivated team of childcare professionals who will provide a tailored, structured curriculum for your child, making sure to treat your child as an individual. When it's time for your child to leave us, you can be sure that with our excellent links to local schools in the community, the transition will be smooth. Our friendly, thirty place full day care nursery has been established for over 10 years and could not be better situated within the expansive grounds of the Quorn Grange Hotel. We provide secure on-site facilities and have plenty of off road and safe parking. .

Ages 6 weeks to 2 years

During this stage a child’s physical experience is very rapid and they gain increasing control of their muscles. They quickly become mobile and able to manipulate and handle objects. They discover communication and language. Through stimulating play and a caring environment our staff will support your child through a variety of experiences that involves all the senses, and encourages learning and an interest in the environment

Ages 2 to 3 years

Practitioners will support and encourage children in areas such as eating, dressing and toileting. We will build self esteem and encourage social skills, sharing and being co-operative. Our outdoor environment will help to develop physical skills, as our children join in active play with others. Children will now have a close trusting relationship with their key-worker.

Ages 3 to 5 years

Children now have a stronger sense of identity. They learn how to be more controlled with their behaviour. Through appropriate planning all our activities cover all areas of learning. Children will now have good relationships with their peers and regularly enjoy imaginative play. Literacy and numeracy can develop rapidly with the support of a wide range of materials. Creative activities, letters, numbers and pencil control are all a valuable part of preparing your child for the transition to school.
